Duplex chipboard has one face coated with clay or kaolin for a white print surface. The white face holds ink more evenly and boosts color saturation on offset and UV. Print quality is stronger than raw greyboard; luxury projects still pair structure with specialty wrap where needed. It’s a common cost–look balance for cosmetics, retail and gift packaging.
